Why Do We Do What We Do?
Switch Rugby’s Director, Matt, has spent over 23 years fostering growth and development across all levels of the game—a journey driven by his deep passion for the transformative power of rugby, both on and off the field.
From working as a teacher of Physical Education and Assistant Headteacher to leading roles with the RFU and the Bristol Bears Academy, Matt has dedicated his career to helping players, coaches, and clubs unlock their full potential. Through his work as an RFU Development Officer, Coach Educator, and Trainer, Matt witnessed firsthand how rugby can inspire personal growth, build resilience, and create opportunities for individuals and communities alike.
